Nearly time for the next cohort of student nurse to become registrants. Any tips you wish someone would have shared with you? #support #futurenurse Mine(@pwrsmanag) would be not to underestimate writing a checklist to help you prioritise & share with your team #teamwork @RCNNRN

We have found this resource useful 💊 Especially the ‘TRAMP’ acronym to promote self checking when administering medication #safemedication @MedsAdvice_BCU @mrsjudygreen @pwrsmanag @sean1lisa @TMacphailOwen @susieheyes10 @ellie_kite https://t.co/D6by8DES8P

Administration of medication is the most high risk task we do as nurses. Do you think enough support is given during your preceptorship period?💊

Working over the festive period is difficult, but there are also lots of positives. What is your best memory of working over these times 🎄🎅🏻 mine (@pwrsmanag)is working a night shift on Christmas Eve and quietly playing Santa so all patients wake up to a gift.

Hi all! @pwrsmanag here today. Hope you are all keeping safe & well. The preceptorship period differs throughout the uk, what do you feel the minimum timeframe should be?

3/3 my point here is, the team, the team and people make all the difference. We talk about patients all the time, and they are important too. But the people we work with, the people we cry with and lean on. They matter aswell! I’m so happy I asked to move..... AGAIN!

2/3 I’ve really not enjoyed it at all. The cultures, the people, the speciality, just not my bag. I’ve now been moved to another ward. And it’s the other end of the spectrum. Supportive, good leadership and some inspiring people
