A ski trip was cancelled due to cold weather. Amazing teachers came up with an engaging stem activity about skiing. Students loved it! When given lemons, make lemonade!

Staff and Students swap roles afternoon was a lot of fun! This young lad ran the school. A little bit of a different style than Mrs. Polhuis, but there were many laughs, peculiar announcements over the PA, and hopefully some learning about each other's role and perspective.

Our new sensory space: : 'The Den' organized into different stations to support different needs. Students work one on one with staff to reflect on their chosen activity and identify it helped them feel more calm, confident, and ready to learn in the classroom.

Such a great first day greeting students and families today. For our staff meeting we decorated cups with stickers representing our intentions for the year. Inside were goodies and scratch tickets for prizes. And then we had a cup selfie challenge! ❤️

Amazing resource from the Indigenous Peoples Atlas of Canada. Includes a timeline of Indigenous history, as well as treaty and territory information. Students completed a scavenger hunt with facts from the map!
