Check out the lab’s first spatial navigation paper! Fantastic science led by @brainybassil with significant contributions from undergraduate students at Emory/Georgia Tech in collaboration with @ThackeryBrown !!.
After months of writing (& re-writing), I'm excited to announce that my first first-author paper is out as a PsyArXiv preprint!. We designed a city-like, VR navigation task (open-source & available!) to test the formation of allocentric representations 🗺️.

Exciting fundamental work establishing reliability of the balance N1 in both younger and older adults. Fantastic work @jlmirdamadi @AidenPayne15 @NeuromechanicsL @emorydpt students!!.
Thrilled to share a long overdue reliability paper on the balance N1! The balance N1 is stable within an individual up to one year, is reliably measured within 6 trials, and can be obtained using a clinically feasible setup with simple preprocessing .

Very excited about this one! Great work & a team effort led by @jlmirdamadi !.
Announcing this awesome paper by @jlmirdamadi with @NPResearchLab! Individual differences in cortical beta power are associated with whole-body functional motion perception, whereas modulation of evoked cortical responses relate to balance ability.

Exciting work relentlessly led by @JA_Palmer_ that sheds light on how the brain uniquely engages during reactive balance control post-stroke. A great collaboration with @NeuromechanicsL @AidenPayne15 & @jlmirdamadi !!.
Delighted to share our new preprint on evoked cortical activity during balance rxns loading the P and NP legs in people after stroke. A collaborative project with @NeuromechanicsL & @NPResearchLab during my postdoc at @EmoryMedicine 🧵(1/6).
