🌿 Lawmakers recently cancelled a pair of scheduled votes on a substitute version of Senate Bill 56 after legislators raised numerous concerns about its language. In recent months, NORML has generated over 17,000 messages to lawmakers opposing the bill.

🌿 "Regular 3-month application of the emulsion based on cannabis sativa L. oil considerably reduced inflammation, erythema, pruritus, and scaling of the skin," investigators concluded.

💰 Cannabis consumers in California and Maryland must begin paying higher taxes for state-licensed cannabis products.

♥️ Adults who acknowledge having used cannabis within the past 30 days do not possess a significantly elevated risk of heart attack as compared to non-users.

🌿 "Both cannabis and CBD users reported high effectiveness levels for sleep disorders, pain, and rigidity," investigators reported.

🌿 The ordinance's sponsor said that it will prevent residents from being saddled with criminal records for minor marijuana violations.

🌿 "The findings of this study indicate that CBD reduces inflammatory response in the brain and improves cognitive decline associated with aging," the study's authors concluded.

🌿 @GovWesMoore has announced that his office is pardoning nearly 7,000 Marylanders with prior marijuana convictions. These are in addition to the 175,000 marijuana-related pardons the governor issued last year.

🌿 The new law adds additional qualifying conditions & dispensary licenses, & permits vaporizing but not smoking botanical cannabis. Products may contain up to 10mg THC per dose and up to 1g per package, & physicians may authorize up to a 90-day supply.

🌿 Following the daily use of cannabis extracts, all patients experienced seizure freedom for periods of at least 90 days.
