I am simultaneously: meeting with elder law attorneys, touring assisted living facilities, navigating repairs to moms house in another city, and getting bids for a new roof for my house, while also working 60 hours a week and trying to maintain some semblance of a social life.

I made the mistake of filling out a questionnaire on A Place for Mom and now my phone is getting blown up with calls, emails, and texts from every nursing home in south Louisiana.

After a very stressful week, I made dinner reservations for Saturday with a friend at a restaurant I've been dying to try. Then, boyfriend surprised me with reservations at the same place for Friday night. I think I'm going to go to both and just not say anything to either.

I refurbished my Litter Robot this weekend by replacing the liner, the pinch sensors, and 2 of the computer chips and so far it's working great. I feel like a fucking MacGyver goddess.
