Sad news has reached us of the death of Jimmy ‘Puddin’ Cullinan, a lovely man and a hurling legend. Jimmy was one of the finest players ever to wear the Newmarket jersey and was equally brilliant in the colours of Clare and Munster. His honours include 10 Senior Co. championships

We came together by staying apart. We aimed to travel 500 miles & went over 1,500. We raised over €16,300 for Meals on Wheels, Bunratty Search & Rescue, Men’s Shed, Pieta House & Sláinte an Chláir. We did something to be proud of. Well done everyone & thanks for the support 👏🏼👏🏼

Sad news reached the village yesterday evening with the sudden passing of Padraig Cullinan. Paudie was an exceptionally talented sportstar in his youth, playing hurling, football, soccer, an All Ireland winning handballer and he also danced in the World Championships.
