There is an increased wildfire risk this week 👇.
Our crews responded to a significant wildfire in the southern part of Kielder Forest. This challenging incident required a large-scale response. Please help us by avoid using disposable BBQs in open countryside, never discard cigarettes, and report any signs of fire immediately.

With support from Forestry England and two NEAS Critical Care Dispatchers, we responded to a scenario involving a crashed mountain biker needing treatment and extraction from tough terrain. Kielder’s busy, remote, and unpredictable — exactly why we train hard. #MountainRescue
