Linked-In is increasingly awash with non medically qualified people selling their services to ‘guide’ patients to appropriate fertility treatments. This growing business presents risk to both parties as ill informed directions may have both medical and financial consequences.

Fertility medicine is subject to more scrutiny and public opinion than any other branch of medicine. However anxiety can be too readily raised by media stories that are often ill-informed. Sometimes it is necessary to respond.

The hall is ready. Always a special moment when the calm anticipates the performance to come.
