Buying in bulk is a scam. For your health. You want to eat larger portions. And then you fall of course. Buy what is needed for the week with those smaller portions and come out leading the race 💪

1 gram per pound of bodyweight is an okay approach, But do you really want to eat that much protein? Depending on your bodyweight, that can be a lot! Better thing to do is make your meals 400-450 calories maximum. Watch how your body leans out.
