Officer Roscow was posthumously honored with the S.O.A.R. Award for his bravery and sacrifice in the line of duty. On February 4, 2025, Officer Roscow courageously confronted an armed suspect, protecting our community. We will never forget his service and ultimate sacrifice.

From Sept 5–22, NLVPD will join agencies across Nevada in a Joining Forces high-visibility campaign focused on keeping pedestrians safe. Our Traffic Officers will be out enforcing violations that put lives at risk, like speeding in crosswalk areas, and distracted driving.
