This week is European Fertility Awareness week & we will be highlighting the issues facing those on their fertility journey as well as progress being made with recent legislation & funding in Ireland #EFW2024 @FertilityEurope NISIG Chairperson @CaitrionaF spoke to @NewstalkFM 👇.
Despite "significant progress", a fertility group has said Ireland still has "a lot of work to do" to widen access to fertility treatments.

Great to see the commitments around expanding IVF criteria and regulatory authority in the Programme for Government.
Pleased to see the following included in the Programme for Government: @NISIG1 . Expand eligibility to State-funded IVF. Establish new AHR Regulatory Authority to support Assisted Human Reproduction and establish first public Assisted Human Reproduction treatment centre.
