2/2) As the largest fuel poverty scheme in the UK, ECO has had a transformative effect on the lives of vulnerable people across the country. An extension to the scheme would enable more households to benefit from warmer homes, lower bills, better health & reduced CO2 emissions.

1/2) Great to see that Ed Miliband promised to extend ECO beyond 2026 in yesterday's speech. This is encouraging news for industry & residents! It is now imperative that the Government sends a clear signal to industry by also publicly committing to an extension.

1/2) New @ECIU_UK research reveals the cost to households of a lack of policy support since 2012 for #netzero technologies. If government policies supporting #insulation had continued at 2012 levels, the cumulative savings between 2013 and 2023 could have been £12bn.
