Did you know that Lynx are specialized hunters? With large eyes and superb hearing, they are well-equipped for spotting mice from 250 feet away! Truly a “fur-ensic” expert! Moose Plate funds support the Lynx, an #endangeredspecies protected by the NH Fish and Game Department! 💚

Moose Plates support the Land & Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP) in their efforts throughout New Hampshire, including projects like the Sawyer Brook Headwaters! This was Ausbon Sargent’s first conserved property in #GranthamNH 💚 #conservation #newhampshire

Through historic research, field visits, and desktop reconnaissance, the NHB team determined key areas on the landscape where old forests may occur. They are working to uncover new locations of old forests through tree coring, shown here! #conservation #forests #mooseplate
