Wow! Saturday morning inspiration for athletes and coaches about unselfishness and winning culture. (And, he might even sing the national anthem, too!)
For the first time in the history of the Farmington Public Schools, a basketball team has won 3 straight MHSAA District titles.

People need to understand the big picture of what Gabe Brown did tonight. He hasn’t played all that often this year but kept his head on straight and paid his dues. When the door of opportunity opened tonight he was ready and took advantage of it!
I used to think I coached I the best HS league in MI but after tonights all league voting, Im embarrassed
How can Foster Loyer not be unanimous All Division? And to hide behind the fact that votes are “anonymous” is cowardly! Time to rethink your profession when you cheat kids
We have 1300 kids in the hallway together, between 300-400 kids in the lunchroom together UNMASKED, and athletics being tested to compete unmasked, BUT WE CANT HAVE FANS? If it’s that bad, go virtual. Covid must only live in the gym! Athletics is an extension of the classroom.
Congratulations to Coach Mantyla and Coach Barringer on the private wedding ceremony today! We wish you many happy years together!!

At what point do high school basketball teams pull out of the MHSAA for the year so they can follow MDHHS guidelines and test the players 3x a week and play a season that isn’t MHSAA sanctioned?
Thank you to everyone that participated in the 2022 Holiday Extravaganza Presented by Chris Webber! Was a great success again this year for all the teams and fans. Have a safe and Happy New Year, see you in 2023!!
@BCAMCoaches
Sad to see so many HS coaches fail to lead during this pandemic. No matter if you agree with it or not you have to lead and set a positive example. Not send your team to Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina or other places to play. Way to show kids the right way to do things! 👍👍
Trailing 39-29 after 3 quarters, the NF Raiders (5-1, 1-0) finished the game on a 16-4 run to defeat Clarkston (3-2, 0-1) 45-43.
@ryhurst
led North with 29 points,
@TylerSpratt2
added 7 pts., and
@ljthepointguard
sealed the win with 2 FTs. N Steinman paced the Wolves with 15.
The recruitment of Farmington Public School kids by neighboring districts is a joke and sad. Sad that you need to go get better kids instead of coaching your kids up. We’ve lost what it’s about in education.
This is absolutely shameful and embarrassing for this district. Everything he’s done for the kids and that community and it “doesn’t meet expectations.” Sounds like a personal agenda to me!
LaMonta Stone fired as River Rouge boys basketball coach
During this difficult and trying time, we have lined up a series of FREE Coaches Clinics every Wednesday using zoom. Here is the schedule so far. We will continue to update this as we get coaches committed.
Man we’re 2 days into games and the amount of pictures online of teams wearing masks as chin straps, and not social distancing is shameful. Those will be the same ones that are blaming everyone else when the season gets shut down!
I hope
@BCAMCoaches
takes a stance and demands changes because this is a joke of a plan from the
@MHSAA
Once again they cater to football and all other sports are treated as a second class citizen. Enough being PC, take the gloves off!!
These 2 are perfect examples of what young kids should strive to be! Such great young men on and off the floor. Leaders in the school, and in the community, have had great accomplishments in athletics, but more importantly both are GREAT students!

These two have been through so much together and winning a Regional in their third straight try means everything.

They weren’t brought in the “blessed to receive an offer” era. They were blessed to be part of a team and worried about the present instead of the future.
The WORLD lost a great man today with the passing of Allen Archer. He stood for everything that was right in athletics and education. Words can’t express what he meant to our program and me personally. RIP my man, you will be greatly missed each and every day!
