Our team just wrapped up at the #HigherEducation #FinancialWellness Summit at @UUtah! We joined a panel, presented on our #PersonalFinance #Ecosystem and connected with @GoCCCS. We’re moving the field forward by highlighting effective and equitable approaches to #FinancialEd.

At the FEI&I Summit, the conversations had around #FinancialEducation access included the overwhelming support for K-12 graduation requirements, while also acknowledging barriers to overcome. This is what NEFE’s #ThoughtLeaders took from the discussions:

On Friday, #Texas Governor Greg Abbott (@GregAbbott_TX) signed #HB 27, enacting a #PersonalFinance graduation requirement. Texas is now the 29th state to guarantee every high school student receives a #FinancialEducation. Full bill: #FinancialLiteracy.
