Born on this day in 1930: GK Ronnie Simpson, son of famous Rangers and Scotland player James, Ronnie played nearly 300 times for NUFC winning 2 FA cups with us in 1952 and 1955. After suffering a bad injury he moved to Hibs then onto Celtic where he won the European Cup in 1967.
