Our day two plenary session featured Dr. Branko Kerkez, Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Michigan. Kerkez' presentation provided a clear-eyed overview of artificial intelligence applications in the water resources field.

We began the second day of our conference with opening remarks from Secretary Reid Wilson of @NCDEQ. Wilson spoke about the challenges and opportunities communities in North Carolina face related to water quality, flooding, and more. We're happy for Secretary Wilson to join us!
