@NCSHP was excited to attend the @SONorthCarolina 2025 Truck Convoy fundraiser at @zMAXDragway on Aug. 16!. Nearly 140 trucks gathered to travel 28 miles up and down I-485, all in support of more than 50,000 Special Olympics NC athletes and partners!

Trooper J. W. Eberle was recently praised at an award ceremony by @SheriffAlamance for his life-saving efforts during Tropical Storm Chantal. Eberle assisted with the rescue of two adults, a child and their pets as they were stranded on the roof of their vehicle during the flood.

On Aug. 10, Troop B, District 5 (Bladen & Columbus counties) held its Family Fun Day event. Members and their families gathered at The Grand Regal Resort “Splash's Fun Park” to fellowship and enjoy the summer before heading back to work & school!

A great piece of Patrol History was donation by a founding members family this week as an originally issued #2 badge assigned to Patrolman W.W. Stone was returned to the Patrol for future generations to enjoy. Patrolman Stone was the last of the original member to retire in 1973

Troopers from Troop B, District 3, participated in the Running with the Law – Sunset Pursuit Event in Onslow County. This 5K run organized by Jacksonville P.S. is a sister event to the National Night Out events that will be held later in October. Great work Troopers!

Great work by Troopers in Northampton Co. who attended National Night Out festivities in Garysburg. The event included law enforcement, members of the district attorney’s office and community members to include a future trooper already perfecting how to wear the hat!

This past weekend Trooper W. P. Efird attended the 6th Annual 53-Strong DeAthlon hosted by The DeAngelo Williams Foundation in Monroe. The event serves to spread breast cancer awareness in hopes to one day eradicate this devastating disease.

Last week @NCSHP IPC instructors (Interdiction for the Protection of Children) took part in the 2025 Human Trafficking in the Carolinas Conference in Columbia, SC. Sgt. M. C. Nales presented an IPC Introduction Course for the attendees during the two-day conference.

@NCSHP was proud to lend a helping hand on July 31 when a robbery suspect was located by a vigilant trooper on US-1 in Vance County after having robbed two banks in Angier and Raleigh, respectively, just hours prior.
Interagency collaboration led to a swift arrest following a bank robbery in Raleigh. Thanks to teamwork between RPD, the NC Highway Patrol, & Angier PD, the suspect was quickly taken into custody. We remain committed to working alongside our partners to keep Raleigh safe.

Sgt. J. G. Williams & Trooper J. W. Hoggard recently beat the heat by stopping by a local lemonade stand that was organized by local kids! Sweet Shrub Farm in Gates County allows children in the community to host a lemonade stand each Saturday in July. Just in time for summer!
