Thank you to @ForsythTechCC for hosting @NCSCIO and members of our N.C. 911 Board team yesterday to give an overview of its IT and work-based learning programs. The visit gave them an opportunity to discuss the importance of preparing students to build the future of tech in NC.

These Push to Talk radios add yet another layer of resiliency for NC's 911 system. Strong, reliable communication is critical to keeping our 911 centers connected and our communities safe when storms hit.

Today we partnered with the N.C. 911 Board and Dare County to deliver Starlink devices to the NC coast. These devices will help ensure first responders and communities will have access to the internet and other connections before Hurricane Erin arrives. #ReadyNC #ErinNC
