Construction is nearly complete on #NCDAC's 500-kW solar energy project at Tabor Correctional— and the solar array is expected to go online soon! It features 1440 photovoltaic panels on 1.35 acres and will generate approx. 875 Megawatt-hours per year.

***CAPTURED***. Sheriff's deputies in Hyde County captured Francisco Cardenas this evening. A tip from a resident led deputies to a section of US 264 East near Swan Quarter where Cardenas was located walking along a roadside and was arrested without incident.

A reward of up to $10,000 is now being offered for information that leads to the capture of Francisco Cardenas, who escaped from Hyde Correctional Center in Swan Quarter on Thursday. The U.S. Marshals Service is now assisting in the investigation and search.
