The Bulls are holding firm on not offering Josh Giddey $30 million annually in contract negotiations, per @KCJHoop. If Giddey’s representatives continue not to like Chicago’s offers, they could accept the $11 million qualifying offer to become an unrestricted free agent in 2026.

There’s some talk about Giddey getting $30M a year - the talk has come from aggregators. Who’s offering that money? What teams have it? Bulls FO is notoriously cheap, would likely only match a RFA offer, rather than make one.

Congrats to the four Australians selected in the second round of the NBA Draft. Nothing is guaranteed to second-rounders, but the hope is they can forge a spot for themselves. I like all four players. Proctor and Olbrich the most. Being NBA drafted is a huge ✅ on the resume.

Giddey traded for a vital piece. I would assume he’ll still make his money - which heals all wounds. Giddey was a 30MP player on the Thunder when they were a lottery team, then a 10-15MP player in the Playoffs. He’s got a lot of spirit, though.
