Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire FSU community. 🙏🏾
Dear FSU community, Today, we experienced a tragic and senseless act of violence at the heart of our campus. At lunchtime, an active shooter opened fire at the Student Union. Two were killed. Six others were injured. We are heartbroken. We are grieving with the families,

Thank you for coming @BenDiamondFL!
When will we acknowledge that it's our responsibility as lawmakers to defend our Constitution? Which includes defending our freedom to vote. Proud to join my colleagues this afternoon to fight back against Florida’s new deliberate barriers to voting – the #AntiVoterFreedomAct.

We will see you at the next senate committee hearing for #SB524 Sen. @ShevrinJones! Thanks for coming out to our rally.
The Black community will NOT be the political door mat or the punching bag for the Republicans agenda! We’ve been here before! We see what you’re doing, we hear what you’re saying! We will NOT stand down! ✊🏾

Thank you @NikkiFried for defending our right to vote that has long been fought for.
Republicans want to talk about voter fraud?!? Okay. They should start by looking in the damn mirror.

Last night, the abortion ban legislation passed in the Florida House. I know this is heavy news for many and I want you to know you are not alone. This fight is not over and we will continue to push back against the onslaught on our rights.
Today, the Florida House will vote on the abortion ban bill. I will not be able to join my colleagues, but wanted to send a message. I am thankful for everyone who came to speak against this legislation and those who amplified our message.
