What is it with Deaf people and their obsession with using 'we are preserving Deaf culture by continuing to use offensive signs'... THAT IS NOT PRESERVING CULTURE. THAT IS PRESERVING RACISM, SEXISM, TRANSPHOBIA, HOMOPHOBIA and many other forms of oppression through signs.

This is a great breakdown of the process of stuttering and how it personally feels. I went through years of speech therapy growing up to work on mine, and to this day my words still get caught, stumbled, or run together. I am mortified when it happens in a VO session.

I was nursing my son (4 months) while watching this week’s Narrative Telephone and he just LIT up at @LauraBaileyVO’s voice. Absolutely adored her. He has a low frequency deaf gain so responds very positively to sounds like her voice - I thought it was too cute not to share 💜
