ZCS bus driver, Bob Walford, dressed in a tuxedo today so that he could serve the kids on his routes animal crackers and water. He said his kids were special and wanted to treat them as special.
This ZCS bus mechanic subbed on a bus route last week. One of the girls stopped talking to him on day two. Loading her wheelchair and talking with her mom, she told him that her daughter was upset his beard wasn't purple! Subbing again this week, with a purple beard!

ZCHS Senior Vaughn Mihok is recognized at the Boys State HS Swim Championship where ZCHS has many top swimmers competing. As the longtime sign bearer, he is a crowd favorite for enthusiasm and spirit. This first of its kind honor includes a $1,000 college scholarship.

11 ZCHS seniors have been named Finalists in the 2018 competition for National Merit Scholarships. These ZCHS students advanced to Finalist standing in the competition by meeting high academic standards.

Congratulations to ZCHS Teacher Danielle Wilson for being awarded a 2021 Lilly Endowment Creativity grant. Danielle will have the opportunity to better understand the events of WWII by traveling to key locations and studying the various aspects of that time in history.

ZCHS Girls Basketball team are Sectional Champs! They defeated Laf Jeff 71-43. These girls play in the 2nd pm game next Saturday (2/10) at Kokomo Regional against Carmel.
