Michael Jordan "I haven't picked up a ball in years…I rented a house...and [the owner] had a bball court. He says, 'I want you to shoot one free throw.'…When I stepped up to shoot the FT, it's the most nervous I've been in years." (h/t @ClutchPoints)

Meet Jordan. 45 pounds gone with MyBodyTutor! In his words, "Before MyBodyTutor, I thought things were OK. I was physically active—running a few times each week, doing yoga weekly, lifting weights, and riding my bike to and from work. I live in New York City, so walking is a

Original claim: "How we live from age 36 to 46 has the biggest impact on our future health." Whenever I see statements like this, a few thoughts come to mind: 1.) Exact citation needed. 2.) Picking a precise 10-year window as the most important seems arbitrary at best. That

Want to stop starting over? Stop starting too hard. It’s not that you lack motivation or discipline. It’s that your plan only works when everything is perfect. Chronic dieters chase perfect conditions. Not us. If your nutrition plan or workouts feel impossible to keep up with,

Real talk: 80% of weight loss is diet. It’s about what, why and how you eat. This is why you see people working their butts off in the gym month after month — even with a trainer (!) — not looking any different. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ To be clear: I’m not saying you shouldn’t exercise.

If the method you use to lose weight isn't sustainable, then by definition, the results won't be either. Put simply: if you can't see yourself maintaining your current ways long-term, then the weight loss is only temporary.

"I fell out of the habit" is something I hear a lot. But here's the truth: If you fell out, it was never truly a habit. Real habits stick, until life changes something big. Like one of the Big 3 questions: 1). What you do 2). Who you do it with 3). Where you do it When any

I hear from people every day who are obsessed with getting enough protein. Yet in trying to meet their 'requirements,' many end up unintentionally overeating.
