Very sad to hear of the passing of #Brockville native and Canadian media legend Mark Bonokoski. A guy who never forgot where he came from and was so devoted to his mom in her later years. Condolences to his loved ones.

#Brockville flags are lowered in memory of the late Holy Father, Pope Francis, corresponding with the Govt of Canada lowering flags across the country. They will remain lowered for the Day of Mourning on Sunday, for workers who have died or been injured in the workplace.

Over 30+ yrs as a funeral director I have heard countless stories about last days and final hours. This one is truly beautiful. If we could all write the story of our final chapter it would be one of peace, like the Holy Father’s. Requiescat in pace.
