This is all what you have to narrate from sahabah Narrations either have heretics and liars in it , or narrations having no sanad just like another on known as رواية العتبي Here is saif At Tamami labelled as zindeeq in the narration of Maalik Ad Daar.

There was a reason for leaving it while being in Madinah and close to Rasool Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم . Because they knew that dead and alive are not equal Also Rasool Allah mentioned that " When a son of adam dies, all his good deeds come to an end" This is the reason
