I love using Puzzle Island for reading skills! Children have to use inferences from the picture to discover what the blacked-out words are. Then once complete, they use skimming & scanning skills to find 4 hidden animals in the image! (Hint: there’s a cat, cow, dog and hen!) 📚

Pupils had the task of putting major bones and muscles into a rap trying to incorperate as much key vocabulary as possible! Thank you Evie for being confident enough to let me film this & well done to all who contributed in the group! #CreativeLearning #SportsScience #R043

10 things to teach your child before they reach yr6. 1. All Emotions - how to recognise them, how they can make you feel (physically and mentally) and how to control them. 2.Respect - how to gain it, how to give it and how to sustain it. 3. Resilience - how to overcome struggles

@primaryteachew I did an English Language degree too, and the only time the different tenses came up was during the TEFL modules! LOVE teaching grammar though :D Also, this may be helpful with the different tenses.

So, I've found the last few weeks of teaching unexpectedly challenging and it has made it really difficult to want to share and post on here! Just wanted to remind anyone who may also be struggling that it is okay and normal - and importantly, it doesn't last forever!

I’ve really hammered these with my students this year and found a real improvement in the SPaG marks on Q5 as a consequence. I’ve looked at app words, the ance endings, and the etymology of dis-. @Team_English1 #teamenglish
