I invested some more time in my page curl animation and I got a generic page snapping algorithm 🎉.If you curl up to 50% of the page, then it'll snap back, otherwise it snaps forward, making room for the next page. The lines and dots are just my own diagnostics 🤓

After a few more evenings my #skiasharp page curl animation for #dotnetmauo looks almost perfect. I wasted time with SkSL shaders, when canvas.DrawVertices() is simpler and does what I want. Learning: the painter's algorithm saved my bacon from doing proper occlusion computation.

Recently I played again with #skiasharp and I implemented a page turning animation. I think I’m going to release it a #dotnetmaui library if there’s interest from the community. Who has an actual use case for this and what should the minimal features be to be useful?

Have you ever needed to send protobuf-serialized GUIDs between .NET and NodeJs systems?.Then you know the pain of interpreting the serialization result of protobuf-net on a non-.NET system. I just published an NPM package to help with that the madness.
