Muir Woods will reopen for its normal operating hours tomorrow, 2/8.
Unfortunately, Muir Woods will remain closed through Wednesday, February 7 to allow staff time to fix some minor damage to areas around the park. Pending successful cleanup, the earliest anticipated opening date is Thursday, February 8.

This is a change from the previous policy of allowing two signatures on the Interagency Annual Pass. It is being made to ensure consistency and fairness in how the passes are issued and used.

As a result of a servicewide policy change, beginning January 1, 2024, the America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Annual Passes and park-specific passes, including the @MuirWoodsNPS Annual Pass, will have a single signature line for one passholder.

The Ben Johnson Trail in @MuirWoodsNPS will be closed Monday – Thursday until January 2024 as a trail crew rebuilds switchbacks above the Stapelveldt Trail junction. The trail is expected to be open most Fridays & weekends. Alternate routes are available on surrounding trails.
