genuinely curious on what the hell even happened here. i don't expect steven universe to be avant-garde or anything of the sort, but i at least expected it to have some teeth? the whole finale felt like it fell down from its own age rating by four whole digits.

in a show that tactfully explores heartbreak, self-worth, abandonment... they solve the physical manifestation of steven's anguish with a cheesy group hug. spinel crying is probably the most jarring comparison here. both have very serious contexts, but only one treats it that way
I want to hear some critisism about Steven Universe but not the "Steven is a crybaby", "he forgive hitler from space" or things like that, some VALID critisism

statements like these come from a fundamental lack of understanding on how 3D *works*. characters require modeling, texturing, rigging, and you can't skip anything in-between. sorry. this is as "beginner-friendly" as 3D will ever get. you want spore creature creator, not blender.
