Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to one of the most surprisingly effective combo flavors I have tried in a while - the coffee hazy IPA at Mad Mack's Brewing

Decided to try the @crumbl in town for the first time tonight and tried to pick an appropriate beer to pair with it. I think @OdellBrewing 90 Shilling worked pretty well. But I still expect to be in a sugar-induced coma soon ...

I stopped by @odysseybeer for the first time a few weekends ago in way too long. The brewery was killing it with its selection of beer, particularly with its Kia Ora New Zealand Pilsner, which was a skillful bland of lager refreshment and hop bite. Can't wait to go back.

Eating at a Cajun restaurant tonight, so having a menu full of @TheAbitaBeer seems only appropriate. This Jockamo is almost subtle in its juiciness, so it works.

I recently made it back to @PintsPub in Denver for the first time in far too long. I'd forgotten exactly how nice it was to have a well-made British beer in a traditional pub setting. Yes, I'm going to have to do this more often. #NewYearsResolutions

In addition to hitting @GABF last week, I loved the special tappings at places like @finnsmanor, @CrookedStave and @HopsandPie and really appreciate the @coloradobrewers Guild and camaraderie at @oskarblues in downtown. Cheers to everyone who made this time a blast.

You might think a barrel-aged imperial stout is an inappropriate choice following a day of hiking. But when that stout is made by @StormPeakBeer and aged in Mythology Distillery barrels, I defend my choice. Cheers!

Found an Ethiopian lager at @MollysSpirits tonight and decided the week of the Olympics was the perfect time to try it out. A little breadier than I prefer my lagers, but it packs a decent amount of flavor.

Let me introduce you to Jimmy Buffet Ruined My Life, by Swells'a Brewing. Cute name, yes. More importantly, it's the @WorldBeerCup double hazy IPA gold medalist - and is every bit as delicious as that description implies. Bursting with tropical flavors, this is a true find. Wow.

Once again, there is a lot to love at @coloradobrewers Collaboration Fest. That little slice of wonderful darkness is a Cuban Espresso Stout from @skabrewing and @ChelunaBrewing.

Finally got a chance to try the excellent GABF gold-medal-winning export lager from @ChelunaBrewing today. It's so good that even the boy wants a sip ...

Now here's a beer dinner: @dogfishbeer crabcakes from a @lucybeercook book, paired excellently with a @TellurideBrew Face Down Brown Ale. I think we'll have to make this again.
