Bunny has 5 babies in her foster home, and Camomille had 3. The ladies took turns nursing, cleaning and caring for the kittens. Teamwork makes the dream work, and these two lovers have become inseparable!

He has been adoptable since June 28th 2020 and has not received A SINGLE application! 💔
He gets along great w/ other cats. While he’s a bit shy w/ humans at first he quickly warms up.

At the honorable age of 14, Mimi ended up in a shelter.
Mimi was brought to us in April 2023 after her frail owner had to be placed in a CHSLD. Poor Mimi has adapted very well considering her age, and is really very playful!
She needs her forever home, with another cat or alone!

Russell is turning out to be a talker! He’s walking around a bit, and is quite friendly. He’s still hospitalized but doing better. He’s extremely skinny but being tube fed. Thank you for allowing us to give him his best chance!

As you can see, he is walking very confidently and expressing himself with humans. He’s really lovely!
He’s VERY thin. It is now the priority to help him gain weight slowly and stay hydrated.
We’re hoping that tomorrow, he will be able to join his foster family!

We won’t sugarcoat it- he’s in rough shape. His fur is matted, he has some wounds. He likely has fleas, possibly worms, and has lost a lot of weight.

Léo came to us in Jan 2023 after being abandoned by his family who was moving overseas. Poor Léo! He is such a sweet and affectionate cat. He lets himself be hugged, he comes to play with us, and meows softly when we talk to him, wake him up or he wants to tell us something.

Unbelievably, in his 3 years of life, Freddie has already been abandoned twice!
Yet he’s such a good cat. He loves humans and being close to them is clearly important to him. He’s independent enough to be alone during the day so long as love him as soon as you get home!

We are heartbroken to share that Tinder has crossed the rainbow bridge.
Our vet found that he had pneumonia, a heart murmur, a high fever and a huge mass in his bladder. The mass was most certainly cancerous and lung damage was probably metastases.
Unfortunately, Tinder has just returned to the shelter. Nearly 3 years later.
We won’t sugarcoat it- he’s in rough shape. His fur is matted, he has some wounds. He likely has fleas, possibly worms, and has lost a lot of weight.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our little Chaussette.
Chaussette arrived at the shelter in Jan 2022 with her lover Billy Ray. Chaussette had a little secret: she was pregnant! She had her babies in the shelter. All was well until about 3 months later.

One of our past foster parents found these 4 kittens abandoned in a garbage bin.
They are now safe with us, with one of our foster families.
This is why foster homes are so so so important. Even if you can’t have permanent cats of your own, you can still save lives.

He was found in Laval as a stray, and brought to us on May 16. Playful and affectionate, he asked for nothing better than to receive our attention even if it was just to give him care.

Russell is now in foster care. A total of 5 volunteers will go to the apartment to help facilitate medical care and observation.

Atoum, barely 6 months old, was rushed to the vet for a urinary blockage. His family, unable to pay for his hospitalization, requested euthanasia. The veterinarian could not resign him to this fate, so she contacted us.

Obviously we are angry, heartbroken and extremely upset at the state he’s in. Our cats do not stop being part of our family when they get adopted, and we never ever want to see them like this.

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we just report the passing of our noble Doyenne Isabella-Suzie.
Our beautiful lady was between 17 and 20 years of age, and had been at the shelter since 2008, the vast majority of her life.
