Students in third grade are super engaged with this intro M3 lesson. When asked to rate the lesson on a scale of 0-5, they said 10! @fcpsaap @WashMillES @FCPSR3 can’t wait to make the Yeti!

Students are super engaged exploring volume and surface area with M3. When student are upset math class is over and say, “this was the most fun I’ve ever had in math” you know meaningful learning happened! 👌@WashMillES @fcpsaap

2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the passing of the 19th amend. Ss engaged in a DBQ analyzing primary sources and created a final product of their choice. Many loved looking at the outfits suffragists wore and created their own! @WashMillES @fcpsaap

Students in sixth grade were engaged using interactive slides to learn about growth mindset. We even tried a Socratic Seminar in the virtual world. ✔️out those reflections! 💜@WashMillES

Finally finished packing up! This marks my 10th year in FCPS & my last as a classroom teacher. I’m excited to be part of the @WashMillES team as the AART in the fall. So many great memories/friends/students I’ll miss at @Clermont_ES. Looking forward to new adventures 🎉
