This is so true. The rich lessons and conversations that are led by students in my classroom are amazing. They just need a safe space and the given opportunity to share.
Wanna know a secret? My students teach ME about social justice. All you have to do is listen, and if they feel safe, they will teach you so much from their lived experiences.

Today 8A @rjlee_ps did an awesome job co-constructing definitions to support our read aloud, "This Book is Anti-racist". They also worked on listing parts of their identities to work towards the making of personal mind maps.
