YES!!! What do you think, @PRGonzales80 @CVkalvarez how would y’all support your teachers in tangible ways?
School and district leaders: Teachers do not need to hear “you got this!” We need to hear “when you do not have this, here are tangible ways we will support you.” Put that in your convocation speeches and then do it.

This is the kind of attitude I love to see from a leader! #inspirational @Brenda_Barrera1 @Salvado14879249
Someone asked me why I post or share jobs for other schools/districts. One reason is because my campus has been 100% staffed since the last day of school. The main reason is that all students, not just mine, deserve to walk into a building full of quality caring adults on day 1.

What an interesting perspective! I never thought about how this could be perceived as a leader! @MerlySerrano2 @LauraChaffin10 what do you guys think?
When I hear someone say it's all about the kids, whatever it takes, etc. I cringe because it's often said with little regard to the well being of teachers/staff who need to be at their best to give their best to help students become their best.

I love this! “Being deliberate in building relationships” it seems so simple but the intentional act of relationship building with your faculty makes a difference in a multitude of things on campus. Buy-in becomes easier. Your vision becomes clearer! @PRGonzales80
Effective leaders help create a strong foundation by using the right language, being clear, and being deliberate in building relationships. They know leadership is about serving others. #jeschat #daretolead #booksandbrunch

Getting organized to meet with our PBIS team next week so we can plan for our training in August. Any tips from experienced PBIS campuses/champion teachers? #PBIS #edutwitter #Newbie #leadership

T-TESS training officially complete! Feeling great after this 3 day training with @CVkalvarez @digthefigs. My hand hurts but I’m ready to script all the lessons!

It’s easy to say this since I’m still in the classroom, but I think leaders inadvertently forget what it’s like in the trenches! And how less turnover = better student outcomes in the end!
Superintendents and principals best serve their students by best serving their TEACHERS! https://t.co/sFZ05vpt4g

Don’t let their faces fool you! When they heard they had one the golden spatula on announcements they cheered so loud! I’ve just got a lot of camera shy kiddos this year 😂
Congratulations 🎉 to Ms. Mathre’s 5th graders for their great cafeteria behavior! They earned the Golden Spatula! @CorneliusElem @Zajan23 @MsMathre
