Having attended #tui25, I find the media coverage extremely disappointing. Sole focus on #strike ignoring the student-centred motions & passionate speeches regarding AEN learners, AEN assessments, digital divide, DEIS funding, etc. Pandering to teacher hate @TUIunion @rtenews.

I found @HMcEntee address at #tui25 today to be v. encouraging. The Minister seems to genuinely wish to work *with* teachers to improve education for all stakeholders. Unlike her predecessor who pitted the Dept, students & parents AGAINST teachers. Important to have #partnership.
