Not about going outside in the playground, not about even asking children about their lives. ✅ showing students you care by demanding an excellent learning environment. ✅ showing students you care by teaching them LOTS. ✅ having unapologetically high expectations because.

Lots of chat about “needing good relationships” in teaching - to me that means having the kinds of relationships where you can use the behaviour system effectively, have difficult conversations and help new teachers to develop these same relationships 🤷🏻♀️.

Really enjoyed reading @Mr_Raichura blogs around this. Really helpful to consider which technique, when, why … especially around I say, You say and Choral Response. @PepsMccrea blog also brilliant for this. Will link below for anyone who is interested… thanks gents for sharing.
Q to those who use choral response - would you break up the text and do the choral response in between lines 1-8 or wait until end of line 8 and then do it?.
