It’s AP Appreciation Week, and we’ve got the BEST of the BEST! @leslmeek is extra like guac(and just as essential), always going above and beyond for our students, staff, and school. From her contagious energy to her unwavering support, we’re beyond lucky to have her on our team.

Our kids were so engaged today at our Level Up Math Camp for STAAR with this Pac Man glow transformation! There’s nothing quite like hearing “aww man” when you tell them time is up for solving their problems! @cynthiamccain16 @leslmeek @MeredithHolmes @TomballMath @TISDGOES

Mission accomplished. We added upwards of 30+ decimals, subtracted across zeros, and mostly importantly, learned a real life skill in a fun way. @TISDGOES @MeredithHolmes @haley_galyean @TomballMath

What better way to practice adding and subtracting decimals than to have lunch at Mrs. Golden’s pizzeria? @TISDGOES @MeredithHolmes @TomballMath

I always forget to post the amazing things my kids do on Twitter. This one was just too good to not share! We worked on visualizing multi-step word problems (a beast!) by creating comic strips! @TISDGOES @MeredithHolmes @TomballMath

Today was Search and Rescue day! Partners had to work together to find the “rescue kit” (strip diagram) that matched their word problem. Then, they solved it on their problem solving mats! Credit to @cynthiamccain16 for this creative idea! @TISDGOES @TomballISD
