🇨🇦: Ontario’s new Science Center will be half the size of the one gov looted. This is China’s new technology museum in Shenzhen. It’s part of their long-term plan to inspire children & build a culture of innovation leadership. It’s 5x ON’s replacement. What happened to us, ON?

Can we acknowledge the fact that having 30 students in a portable is NOT the same as having 30 kids in a classroom? Now make the portable a split grade with no pod to send students to work in. Now add winter clothing. and a few students with behavior issues or sensory needs.

Occasional teachers are using their OWN chromebooks to supply teach because they can't always get a student chromebook to use or don't have a dongle to project the lesson plans left.

Women pay more for haircuts because most of us have longer hair, just we pay the SAME at all-you-can-eat buffets? My husband ate more than my 3 daughters combined, ...by a long shot.

You know when Education Minister Calandra is setting the expense rules for these school board supervisor cronies, it’ll be a party on the taxpayer dime! https://t.co/d5b3urIcbM #topoli #onpoli #onted

Parents defied the Ford government’s livestream ban at a school board committee meeting last night. They recorded & broadcast the TDSB’s special education meeting despite the education minister ordering them to stop. “Why on earth would there be any interest in suppressing this?”

In 1914 she patented an electric refrigerator a design that replaced the icebox entirely. Her prototype used a sealed cooling system & a compact motor that could fit neatly into a home kitchen. It was a quiet revolution that would change how families cooked, stored food, & lived.

She discovered that trees aren't isolated individuals. They're part of a vast, intelligent, underground network—a "wood wide web" where they share resources, warn each other of danger, and care for their young. The forest, it turns out, isn't a battlefield. It's a community."

Nettie Stevens is recognized as the true discoverer of chromosomal sex determination. Her findings overturned older ideas that sex depended on diet or environment, proving instead that heredity and chromosomes decide biological sex.

Radia Perlman, in the 1980s, when computer networks were chaotic and unreliable, she created a way for them to talk to each other without crashing. Her algorithm, called the Spanning Tree Protocol, became the foundation of modern networking.
