Our Cool Down Corner got a little revamp this year. In this space you can regroup, regulate, and relax. There is an SEL tool box, a sensory bin, breathing exercises, and small bookcase with SEL books. You can even pull the curtain if you need a little privacy. #shakeypride

Our first SEL/STEM challenge was to find what we had in common, write it on an index card, then try to build the tallest tower out of our cards. It can be challenging to work as a group, but we found ways to compromise and come together as a team! #shakeypride #tigerpride

For our first science lesson this week we drew a scientist working, compared our drawings, and then came up with what a scientist does - all to discover that we are in fact scientists and will spend some time throughout the school year being scientists! #shakeypride #tigerpride
