Thanks to funding from the Julia and Hans Rausing Trust, World Book Day will bring the fun of reading to children in areas of high need across the UK in 2025, working with libraries to create 40 community hub events to share the excitement. Thank you for the support @JuliaRTrust!
We are pleased to announce £7.2m in grants to 17 literacy and education charities across the country. The largest grant, of £2.4m, has been made to @Literacy_Trust's Libraries for Primaries campaign, aiming to ensure every primary school in the UK has a library for its children.
