“Duh” fixes for remote learning: No testing. Get rid of A-F grades. Homework only as enrichment Cut screen time down to 3hrs max. One full asynchronous day for everyone. STOP trying to make remote learning look exactly like in-person learning.

This is his response when he found out we don’t have class tomorrow 😭❤️😭❤️😭 another student tells me every day that he doesn’t want to leave and when I say “okay guys we only have 10 minutes left” he says “NOOOOOO” 😂 Connections are everything ❤️ I love my job.

Today was a really hard day for me both professionally and personally. I received this message from a student who hasn’t been to class yet bc of tech issues but we’ve been messaging about class. I responded late to her message and apologized for it and this brought me to tears

Hi teacher friends! Does anyone know of a video I can use to make myself better at downloading flip charts into classflow. I swear I’m good at tech but classflow has really tested me. I always use activ inspire for my lessons and I want the poll/quiz feature of classflow

My favorite part of planning this week: my Beyoncé corner ❤️ In my normal classroom I had a student post Beyoncé’s all over my classroom secretly and I’ve never taken them down. The queen lives on in the virtual world 😍😂
