My father used to take so much pride in being a part of the parade. CripsiEST shirt, shinyEST shoe, he didn't even wanna sit down to crease his things. It kinda sucks that for whatever (maybe valid?) reasons, we don't see much of that kinda pride in self and service anymore.
Nobody in the services complaining tho… feel men on that fainting thing every year orwa 😭.
