We are 3 days into the Nolan writing bootcamp! We began with two days of gallery walks of opinion and informative writing that resulted in productive conversations! Today, we are working on topic sentences and improving sentences by adding adjectives and adverbs. #hhsk8knights

Ending the year reading “Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone”, going on a virtual field trip to Universal Orlando’s Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade, making wands and ending with snacks and first Harry Potter movie! Hoping to create more Potterheads today!! #hhsk8knights

Today we took our FSA practice writing and did a gallery walk around the classroom to compare their tests against examples from the FSA website. They had to figure out which one matched their own writing. Tomorrow we are going to work on making their papers better! @HHSK8Knights
