Our LAS class took a trip to the National Puerto Rican Museum to explore the origins of Puerto Rican history and its diaspora in Chicago and beyond. This museum is the only one of its kind in the US mainland! #latinamericanstudies

Additionally, we strolled along El Paseo Boricua, admiring the wonderful murals and immersing ourselves in the community culture. We were fortunate to arrange an authentic Puerto Rican lunch for our students at Janellie’s Kitchen on Division St.

It is with the deepest sorrow to inform you that four BGHS students were killed, and one student was hospitalized, in a car crash last night. We offer our condolences. Counselors are available at the school from 12-4pm to help our community deal with this tragic loss.
