Writers study mentor texts, name what the writer did that was special and then try it out in their own stories. We love George McClement’s book, Night of the Veggie Monster!

Bookmarks helped guide reading partners to make purposeful choices today. Partners can choose to read together 3 different ways: seesaw, echo or choral reading. Then, when partners finish reading a book they do something!
