We played a round of mystery word with our Fundations words. I gave clues for my mystery word (digraphs, glued sound, suffix, etc). They wrote all the options, then erased those that didn’t match the rule anymore after I gave more clues. Great teamwork activity.

Great game for fluency!

We spent 3 days modeling how to write key words to take notes from our reading, write an opening, & detail sentences. Vocabulary lists are the most important thing that helps my writers. With support they can do it! I’m excited to write about technology & national symbols soon.

This was sour BTC task for bat cave day (few days late). It was great to talk about which strategies are more efficient & how we can use/represent math tools. I made them talk for 2 minutes before they could pick up the marker & that was a game changer! #mathjoycps

Used our vertical learning spaces from @thinkingclssrms to start our bat inquiry. They know & wonder so much! Then I showed images & they added to their ideas. If you have not looked into this book, you are missing out. Amazing thinking in all content areas & so much engagement!
