Love the passcode idea at any age in elementary!
We are learning about syllable types + are currently reviewing ‘magic e’ (1 of the 7 jobs of silent e). Inspired by @thismomloves, we’ve implemented a ‘passcode’ to enter the classroom that requires Ss to decode a set of syllables. They love it! @Glenburnie_ldsb @LimestoneDSB

Played “Beat the Ball” today and the students absolutely loved it! Work together to pass the ball down the line and back before the runner. Simplified it for younger students by using a bean bag, closer distance, and less students in line! Thanks for the idea @charteroakpe!
