Our Year 10 Design & Technology students had an incredibly hot but inspiring trip to London last Thursday! They explored design at the V&A, Design Museum, and Japan House's 'Craft of Carpentry' exhibition, sparking loads of creativity. What a great day! #DesignTechnology

Last week, D&T students went on a trip to London to visit the V&A and Design Museum. Students were able to see a range of products related to STEM and took part in a sustainable design workshop. Overall, a hot but successful trip to end the year on! @DesignMuseum @TheWhitSchool

It’s sad to have lost two huge fashion icons in the space of 5 months. RIP 🕊️
Dame Mary Quant (1930-2023) It’s impossible to overstate Quant’s contribution to fashion. She represented the joyful freedom of 1960s fashion, and provided a new role model for young women. Fashion today owes so much to her trailblazing vision.

A true inspiration and icon 💫
29th December 2022. Vivienne Westwood died today, peacefully and surrounded by her family, in Clapham, South London. The world needs people like Vivienne to make a change for the better.

Thoroughly enjoyed taking a trip down to the beach for activity day, pupils loved experiment with photography and mark-making🎨🖌 I wish everyday was like this!
